Based on effective practice identified during our thematic review of the Offender Management in Custody model.
This guide is based on information sourced while undertaking the post-release phase of the OMiC thematic inspection. Throughout the guide, we explore what good OMiC pre-release practice looks like, against our standards. We share an overview of the experiences of people subject to OMiC. The guide then shares real-life examples of leadership, implementing the model and staffing and different aspects of effective case supervision post-release.
